My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts
Weather is
great. Hard to believe fall is just around the corner. Broncos beat
the Giants yesterday. Yeah. While I am doing
fine, I’m still not back to 100% after my tooth extraction. I moved my Covid
booster to nest week, just to play it safe. Wednesday a plumber
is coming to repair my master bath toilet. The seal broke a couple of months
ago, and they did a temporary fix until they had an open day to do a complete
day to fix it. Can’t wait. The hearings
on the American withdrawal from Afghanistan are happening. Lots of finger pointing
on both sides of the aisle. Everyone seems to agree it is a black eye on our
country nationally and internationally. Agree. I did some
quick shopping this morning. Nothing big was needed so shopping took little
time. I did meet another self-checkout machine that questioned why I would be
buying cough syrup. Took a while for the human to find me and verify that I
was not a drug addled meth head. I just smiled for him, but didn’t show my
missing tooth, just in case.
