My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts
Great news in
my email this morning. I’m Covid NEGATIVE. Whatever I had is gone and I am
back to 100%...for a man of my age…as the Dr. always says. The Broncos
had a nice big win over the Jets…wish I could have watched it on my TV. Oh well. I drove over
to the cable company to pick up some
new equipment. The sign on the door said they were closed for an unexpected
reason and would reopen about 12:15. I called Suddenlink, and after 15 minutes
of punching buttons and I finally got a human. He couldn’t tell me, wouldn’t
give me a supervisor, and put me on hold after I asked for his company ID and
name. I called the number, and it was the same call center. They do not have any
way to access a specific store, they do not have access to the address of the
corporate headquarters. They are useless. The first guy said a supervisor
would call me in 10-20 minutes. Guess what…no call after 45 minutes. Oh well. |
