My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts
A decent winter
day. Finishing up laundry and putting clothes away. Yesterday’s snow is all but
a memory.
There has
been lots of discussion about the Senate ‘filibuster’ rule. Historically, the
current filibuster rule has only been in existence since 1975. A paralyzed senate
back then was unable to do its business, much like today. Senator Mondale and
VP Rockefeller, along with others brought the filibuster to its current rule.
Knowing this leads me to believe it is time for another change.
After all
this cold weather, I am ready for spring.
