My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts
The
afternoon the weatherman predicted arrived about 9am. We need the moisture, so
no problem. I had an early doctor appointment. All the blood tests looked good.
After the appointment I decided to get some groceries, just in case there is a
lot of snow. That went well too. Snow is heavy, then light, then none. It is
too warm for much to be sticking. The weatherman sez we will get about 4” total
from this storm. I’ll just hang out and wait to see how much actually
accumulates.
I am very
inspired by the people of Ukraine in the war they didn’t ask for.
The 2020 census
had its problems with Covid and the lockdowns. Now, as the Census Bureau does a
check to verify its report, they learned that the 2020 count did a worse job as
the 2010 census in counting minorities. The undercount of Native American,
Black, and Browns…especially in rural areas…is very discouraging.
