Thoughts for the day

Blues sky, no snow stuck to the ground last night. Then just after noon, the sky was cloudy and it was lightly snowing. I hate Fake Spring.

In Special Elections, Republicans kept 2 House seats in Florida. No surprise.

Wisconsin Supreme Court now has a majority of liberal judges.

Sen. Cory Booker completed his 25 hour 5 min speech that slowed down the Senate. For me, the biggest take-away is that he broke Sen. Thurmond’s anti-civil rights speech of long ago. Strom’s was only 24 hours 17 minutes.

Kid Rock was in the oval office yesterday as Trump signed another Exec. Order that will help concert goer’s ticket prices. No one said Kid Rock was inappropriately dressed in his circus ringmaster outfit not being appropriate attire for the Oval Office. A real double standard.

I was supposed to have a haircut at 10, with the plumber coming at 11 this morning. Thankfully my stylist called about 9:30 to say she wouldn’t be in today. The plumber came and fixed the toilet mechanisms. Happy camper now.
