Thoughts for the day

Another nice spring day.

This nice weather means road construction. 89 is a major highway into Flag from the north. Tourists clog it at this time of year. Now instead of 2 lanes in each direction, it is one lane in each direction. The narrow highway starts at or end at the entrance to our complex. It takes forever to get in and out.

Yesterday there were 4 small fires around various spots along I-40. All were quickly extinguished.

I spent about 90 minutes at the dentist this morning. He took off in ‘new’ non-fitting crown and added another temporary one. Hopefully the one I get on June 10 will be a better fit.

Have you got an extra million bucks and a relative in jail? If so, you can buy a full pardon by donating to the President of the United States. He just pardoned a couple in jail for tax fraud. So insane.

Native American Tribal Proverbs

"Our first teacher is our own heart."© National Park Service

"Our first teacher is our own heart" emphasizes self-awareness as the foundation of learning. It teaches that true wisdom comes from within, urging us to trust our instincts and emotions.

By listening to our heart, we understand our values and desires, guiding us through life’s challenges. This proverb encourages introspection, fostering a deeper connection with ourselves.

As we learn from our heart, we build confidence and clarity in our decisions. It’s a reminder that the journey of self-discovery begins within, empowering authentic living.
