Thoughts for the day
A very warm summer day.
Yesterday’s blood treatment was much better than expected. First, I have
lost 12 lbs. of ‘fluid weight’ as my lymph nodes shrink to their normal size.
Also, my next treatment will be 2 weeks after yesterday’s one. The Dr. is very
pleased with my progress.
When I was a teenager my mom made a French onion with deviled ham dip. It
was the ‘in-thing’ back then. Today I made some and it is a good as I remember.
Famous Quotes That People Have Always
Misinterpreted
"Nice guys finish last" – Leo Durocher
This is the title of a book, not a quote that
Leo Durocher actually said. It’s often used to refer to the New York Giants
baseball team, which was the team Durocher played for. It wasn’t supposed to be
life advice for a person and instead was about the competitive nature of
baseball.

So we must think alike because I have a podcast about 20th Century pop culture and from this page alone . . . Not your whole site . . . but this page has references to:
ReplyDeleteTom Hanks (and his typewriters)
Buddy Holly and American Pie
Darth Vader
Celebrity Teachers
Coca-Cola
And right now I'm working on a Mark Twain story . . . pretty awesome!
