My Rambling Thoughts
Shopping day successful. After a day of
rain and high winds yesterday, today is much nicer.
And our leader continues to undo
everything our first Black President did. Today it is the Transgender issue in
the military. Claims they are just too expensive. Wonder how the other free
world countries (UK, Canada, Israel…) handle it?
Never been a fan of good ol’ boy Jeff,
and certainly do not like some of his AG changes, but the plethora of negative tweets
from the leader make we want to see Jeff stay and fight for his job. His recusal
is one of the few decisions I agree with.
Today’s quote certainly is being played
out on the Senate floor. Seems like everyone has several amendments and they
are all being presented. Sure glad I am not a Senator and trying to figure out
each and every amendment and then decide how to vote. My experience as a school
leader is that there is a proposal to the board. Then lots of discussion from
the board and many times the community members. After hours of discussion, it
is tabled until the next meeting. A month later things have calmed down and a
vote is taken. Seems that isn’t happening in DC today. Interesting to watch.

All
‘data’ info is from the internet sites and is usually checked with at least one
other source, but I have learned that every site contains mistakes and sadly
once the information is out there, many sites simply copy it and is therefore
difficult to verify. Also for events occurring before the Gregorian calendar
was adopted [1582] the dates may not be totally accurate.
