My Rambling Thoughts
And
the monsoon continues on and on and on. Another day of clouds, lightning,
thunder, and rain. I headed out early to successfully gather the essentials I
needed. Back at home by the time the rain hit.
Congressional
committee hearings for the Supreme Court nominee are becoming more and more aggressive
with each nominee. Can’t believe all the shouting from the gallery. I really
don’t think the hearing is the place for such discourtesy. This hearing will go
on and on and on, much like the Flagstaff monsoon.
So,
the governor of AZ has appointed former senator Jon Kyl to fill McCain’s seat.
Here in AZ it is always best to go with a retiree for the any seat. I guess we
don’t have any young whipper snappers here who could be a senator. Kly retired
and AZ voted in Jeff Flake. At his
retirement Kyl was known as one of the most conservative senators in office.
