Today’s  Quote

"Don't be distracted by criticism.

is to take a bite out of you."

-Zig Ziglar

Random Tidbits

1. So let me get this straight, there is no cure for a virus that can be killed by sanitizer and hand soap?

2. Is it too early to put up the Christmas tree yet? I have run out of things to do.

3. When this virus thing is over with, I still want some of you to stay away from me.

4. If these last months have taught us anything, it is that stupidity travels faster than any virus on the planet

5. Just wait a second – so what you are telling me is that my chance of surviving all this is directly linked to the common sense of others? You are kidding, right?

6. People are scared of getting fined or arrested for congregating in crowds, as if catching a deadly disease and dying a horrible death wasn’t enough of a deterrent.

7. If you believe all this will end and we will get back to normal just because we reopen everything, raise your hand. Now slap yourself with it.

8. Another Saturday night in the house and I just realized the trash goes out more than me.

9. Whoever decided a liquor store is more essential than a hair salon is obviously a bald-headed alcoholic.

10. Remember when you were little and all your underwear had the days of the week on them. Those would be helpful right now.

11. The spread of Covid-19 is based on two factors: 1. How dense the population is and 2. How dense the population is.

12. Remember all those times when you wished the weekend would last forever? Well, wish granted. Happy now?

13. It may take a village to raise a child, but I swear it’s going to take a whole vineyard to home school one.

14. Did a big load of pajamas so I would have enough clean work clothes for this week.

My Rambling Thoughts

It looks like more wonderful rain today. It rained a lot last night. Much needed in the forest.

Cleaned up my office this morning. Wiped down my computer, desk, remotes, TV, windowsill, table, and just about everything else. Rearranged a few things. Kept me busy for over an hour. And it is a small bedroom.

Trump has been sounding much better about giving us updates on the virus. It is hear to stay. Wear a mask, social distance, etc. I would prefer a plan, but for now, this is OK.

Cohen was put back in prison because he was going to write a book. Really? He appealed and the judge made it clear to the Administration that they were messing with his first amendment right and he was again released. Good deal.

The AZ governor expects schools to open on time but said guidance about Covid safety will not be about until school has been in session for two to three weeks. Hardly a plan.

For the foreseeable future the Football team in DC will be known as the Washington Football Team. Until they pick a new mascot, the franchise will lose millions. Not many fans want a jersey that says: ‘Football Team’.

I started at Red Lake Day School when it opened grades 6-8. After a couple of years, the board voted to change the name to Tonalea School…the Navajo name of the area. It took us over 2 years and lots of forms, letters, and hard work to get the DC office to accept the name change. It only took the Chapter to get the name Red Lake Chapter to Tonalea Chapter approved by the Navajo Council. Name changes are difficult.
