True Things

 Kimberly Ragsdale's apparent plan to get free food at a Chick-Fil-A in Rockmart, Georgia, ended in her arrest on charges of impersonating a public officer on Nov. 5. According to police, Ragsdale, 47, of Dallas, had repeatedly visited the restaurant, telling workers she was an FBI agent and threatening to arrest them if they didn't serve her a complimentary meal. Ragsdale continued her charade, the Associated Press reported, telling arresting officers her credentials were electronic and talking "into her shirt like she was talking into a radio," the arrest report noted. Rockmart Police Chief Randy Turner said in a statement to news outlets, "You will not hear a real officer demand a meal anywhere."

My Rambling Thoughts

Cooler temps have arrived, especially at night. All good.

My KN95 masks arrived last evening. Ready for travel. They were delivered sometime after 5p when I closed my living room blinds. I checked the internet this morning and it said they were delivered at 8:25pEST. I went downstairs and the box was sitting on the front porch. I would have been happier if the delivery guy had knocked on the door or pushed the doorbell.

Covid doesn’t mix with any gatherings anywhere. Football is trying to fix that, but not on the field. The SF mayor shut down all sports in the county…so the 49er’s started looking for another place to play. Sadly, they picked the Phoenix Stadium, home of the Cards. They will play at least 2 games there, at very odd times. This is insanity.

I’m confused…the schools are closed, but many casinos are open. Why? Does it have something to do with money or are casinos somehow immune to the virus?

The new season of Live with Lisa Ling on CNN Sunday night is back for a new season. It is a great show and worth a watch. The first show was a Boy’s Catholic Private High School spending time at a local prison while inmates and students studied Hamlet. Both prisoners and students learned a whole lot more than the play.
