My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

Another nice winter day with a tad too much wind.

The Olympics continue to take up much of my TV time. These athletes have spent much of their lives preparing for these games. Even when they are eliminated, they are still smiling for the most part. The other amazing thing to me is that in many of the downhill runs, the competitors who have already finished are giving tips to their teammates about the course, knowing that those tips could help the listener beat the time the talker just set.

I wish I was a fly on the wall with the Ukraine thing. The news is only giving us the US side and then guessing what Putin is thinking. I want to know what is going on in Putin’s head. I’m also wondering what the Russian and Ukrainian people think is going to happen. According to the latest from CNN after a call between Putin and Biden…the US fears Russia may still launch a military attack. Scary.
