My Sometimes-Long-Winded
Thoughts
Lots of light rain last night. Still in a flood advisory. Rain started about 2pm. A hard male storm that quickly became a light rain with thunder and lightning. Power knocked out for about 10 minutes.
Our
discussion group meets tomorrow evening. We will be discussing Biden’s Foreign
Policy. Should be a good discussion.
Years ago, I
was able to visit Taiwan with Focus Travel Club. Taiwan is back in the
news. My memories include a beautiful scenery,
great people, fantastic food. I must admit I got a tad tired of the Lazy Susan’s
at every meal, including breakfast. I am deeply sorry to see the political
posturing that is going on…the people of Taiwan do not need or deserve the
current climate.
For my
entire life the US has sent men…and now women…overseas to fight our enemies.
Very disappointed that the Senate Republicans blocked legislation that would
have helped our wounded warriors. The no votes should be headlines across the
country.
The current
Saudi sponsored golf tournament is opening deep wounds of our country. The
National ‘We will not forget’ seems to have fallen on deaf ears when it comes
to making money. This country is certainly divided.

One Hit Wonders
