My Sometimes-Long-Winded Thoughts

Rain is the order of the day.

I was told my new Silver colored Nissan Rogue would be delivered in late Aug. Then yesterday at 8a I got a call that it would be ready for pick-up at 2pm. I was there at 2pm. I didn’t leave until 4:30pm yesterday. Lots of paperwork. Then lots and lots of ‘How to…’ stuff. Everything on this vehicle is electronic.  I took the extended warranty that includes “electronics”. Just put the key fob in my pocket. I can then unlock doors, push the start button and I’m ready to go. With the key fob I can start the car and warm it up in winter while still inside my residence. While the gear shift looks normal, it sure isn’t. I push a spot for R or a different spot for D. It has a large screen, so I can listen to just about any music or radio station, including Sirius, or use my phone. It is a little smaller than my Xterra and gets 33mpg highway and 28mpg city. Happy Camper.

There are lots of on-line threats against the various Feds after Mar-A-Lago visit. This seems to me as very immature. Not surprised though.

Republican House members who voted to impeach Trump are either not running again or are losing in the primary. The Republican mascot fits…they never forget.

The huge increase of IRS agents seems like a lot of money and manpower to go after ‘just the richest Americans’ returns. Hmmm.

I had a good lunch with Mary, Mike, and Faith. Andy is still having back issues, but is doing better with physical therapy.
