Thoughts for the day

There was a little rain last night and it looks like more is coming today. Lots of grey clouds and cooler temperatures.

It was on June 2, 1924 that Native Americans became citizens. That sure took way too long.

Hatred is everywhere. Yesterday it hit Boulder, Colorado. I am still shocked that one man could bring Molotov cocktails to a peaceful, on-going weekly protest on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. They were only walking through the area with signs. They did not deserve to be burned. I wish I had an answer to make this kind of violence disappear from our world.

A cloudy day with possible rain. Always enjoy the moisture. I can smell the rain.

Cleaned the bathroom and bedroom, put down new linens and towels.

Senator Joni Ernst of Ohio had a town hall and was questioned about possible upcoming cuts to Medicaid, and she responded: “Well, we are going to die.” Talk about out of touch…

Sorry to hear that Loretta Swit, of M.A.S.H. fame, has passed at 87. She had a very nice and long career and will be missed by many.
